Theater “Debut” was born in 1998 as an experimental teenagers’ studio at Palace of Youth Creative Work and managed by professional actress and pedagogue Adel Dianova-Kobrinska. The first cast produced three stage projects: comedy “Purimspiel”, modern-style show-version “Yevgeniy Onegin” and literary-poetic composition “ Holocaust” . Since 1999 “Debut” moved to “Hesed-Arieh” building and started its work on the base of communal programs. Soon it could boast of its own stage, light and musical equipment. The repertoire of the theater is very rich, it includes: plastic-musical performance “Why did Noah choose a pigeon?” by I.Bashevis-Singer (2000), del`arte comedy “Purimspiel” (2001), drama “Hana and her children” (2001), “ What is your uncle’s name?” by M.Yevshin (2002), miniatures “Paper rose” by F.Krivin, “Mazl and shlimazl” by I.Bashevis-Singer, “Meet: V.Lanzberg”, “Chanukaspiel” and many others. “Debut” pays much attention to studio work. Young actors and actresses improve their skills with the help of numerous trainings, master-classes with professional actors, classical trainings, blitz –schools for vocal and choreography, etc. |
