“Home care”

The program assists needy elderly people, invalids, disabled people, bedridden and  those who cannot go out and are not able to take care of themselves independently. Its cares for more than 500 people. In December 2005 the program was awarded with the diploma for the best activity among Heseds of Ukraine. This program may truly be considered as the most humane one because its staff does not only render necessary services (personal hygiene, meals, cleaning, payment the bills, etc.) but at the same time becomes the only close friend to our customers.

One is given a birth, studies, runs through good and bad times and then…. suddenly remains completely lonely. It is then when our nurses come. They come to hospitals, to empty apartments sharing good and bad times. They have big hearts and helpful hands always ready to support, and also big patience and kindness…

Home care program is one of the most important in Hesed. Its tasks include physical assistance to lonely elderly people, to invalids who because of their diseases can not take care of themselves independently.

People who work here are real professionals and constantly improve their qualification. They are merciful and able to sympathize, express kindness, responsibility and delicacy. 

Hesed’s clients love their “nurses” who have become real members of their families.
