The 1st International Festival of Jewish music, song and dance lasts at the 1st Ukrainian Theater for children and youth.

Lviv Regional Jewish Charitable Foundation “Hesed-Arieh” , the organizer of “Musical Lion”, is quite experienced in the field of conducting festivals. This organization exists 9 years and unites Jewish community of the city. During 9 years they managed to arrange three theatrical festivals, one artistic and six book festivals.

15 amateur groups form Ukraine, Russia, Latvia and Moldova take part in  “Musical Lion”.  Jewish honor of Lviv is defended by six creative groups. The purpose of the Festival is not only to demonstrate Jewish culture but also to teach how to use it. That is why the organizers show master-classes.
