The experience of Jewish Family Club showed that major of the families which have children with health problems (both physical and mental) are left beyond the communal activity. That was the reason to establish  “Yaholim” program.

Summer week-ends for such families contributed to the foundation of this program. We gave people a chance to live like one community, to communicate with each other, to get psychological assistance.

Jewish education, strengthening of internal family relationship, bringing of children with special needs and their families to Jewish life, giving to them the opportunity of communication, experience exchange and mutual support are the main tasks of “Yaholim” program.  15 children from Lviv and the region are the program participants today.

We try to get children with special needs to communal life and bring them to other programs.

The program purposes:
      Bringing of families with children with special needs to Jewish community;
      Attracting them to Jewish tradition;
      Giving them a possibility of communication, experience exchange, mutual support , 
      informational and psychological support;
      Integration of children with special needs to communal programs and Jewish life;
      Partial art, physical and labor therapy.
